Do you want to create a subdirectory for your subdomain on SiteGround? It’s actually not so difficult. We will walk you through the steps involved in creating a subdirectory for your website. Keep in mind that this process is slightly different depending on which hosting company you are using. This tutorial is only for creating a subdirectory on SiteGround.
Method to Create SubDirectory on SiteGround

First, you need to log in to your SiteGround account. Once you are logged in, go to the “Websites” tab on the left side of the bar.
Then click on the “SITE TOOLS” button under the name of your website.
Now on the main page, you will see a few options. Click on the File Manager

This will give you access to the website directory. From there go to yourwebsite>public-html.
Create New Folder on this location. The new folder will be your new sub-directory and you can use it as a sub-domain for your website.
Remember that you need to install WordPress separately on the new sub-directory.
How To install WordPress on the new subdirectory or subdomain
Click on WordPress from the left menu. Then click on ” Install & Manage”.
On the Application setup, choose “Subfolder” from the installation path.

Now on the Subfolder at the right side box, write down the name of your new folder(sub-directory) like this: /newfolder
Click on Install.
You are done.
